Recovery timeline
Recovery is steady, and many women notice relief in their back and shoulders early on. The first week is spent in Istanbul and the rest of the recovery at home, with remote follow-up. Timelines vary from person to person, and no surgery comes with a guaranteed outcome.
Days 1–3. The breasts feel sore, tight and swollen. You rest with your upper body raised, keep your arms low and take the pain relief your surgeon prescribes. You stay in Istanbul, close to the hospital.
Days 4–7. Soreness eases and you walk around more each day. The surgeon checks the incisions and your healing, and around the end of the week you are usually cleared to fly home.
