How much does plastic surgery in Turkey cost in 2026?

It depends entirely on the procedure, so a single headline number would be misleading. Grouped by area, the indicative all-inclusive starting points are:

• Face — eyelid surgery from €1,800, neck lift from €3,000, facelift from €4,000.
• Nose — rhinoplasty from €2,500; ethnic rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty from €3,000; revision rhinoplasty, the most technically demanding, from €3,500.

Flights are not included in any of these figures, and they are the main item to budget on top, along with spending money and a visa where your passport needs one. Everything else your written plan names sits inside the price.

Is Turkey a good place for plastic surgery?

Yes — and the reasons are checkable rather than promotional. Turkish hospitals are licensed and graded by the Ministry of Health, and the operations we arrange take place at A-class licensed partner hospitals. Turkish plastic surgeons train and certify as specialists, and the country’s case volume means high-frequency operations are performed by teams who do them weekly rather than occasionally.

The part that is specific to us: your trip is arranged by a Ministry of Health-authorised health tourism agency that is also a TÜRSAB-registered travel agency (15434) — so the travel sits under consumer travel law, not only under a clinic’s invoice. The hospital and the surgeon are named in the plan you approve before you fly, the surgeon who plans your case performs it, and the figure on that plan is the figure you pay. Why is plastic surgery cheaper in Turkey than in the UK or US?

The same board-certified plastic surgeons and the same accredited, hospital-grade facilities — delivered from a lower cost base: lower hospital and staffing costs and a favourable exchange rate, the same economics that make hair and dental work cheaper there. It is not a different standard of surgery. For comparison, the procedures above typically cost £6,000–£12,000+ in UK private practice, $8,000–$20,000+ in the United States and €7,000–€15,000+ in Western Europe — and in each case that figure is usually for the surgery alone, with hospital, accommodation and aftercare billed separately.

Our figures include the parts usually billed separately at home: the workup, the anaesthetist, the hospital, the hotel, the transfers and the follow-up. That is why the number holds.

Is Turkey or Mexico better for plastic surgery?

Both are major destinations with excellent surgeons, and the real comparison is structural rather than clinical.

• Distance. For patients flying from North America, Mexico is closer. For patients from the UK, Europe, Scandinavia or the Gulf, Istanbul is a direct short-haul or medium-haul flight and Mexico is a long-haul one — which matters when you are flying home after surgery.
• Hospital regulation. Turkish hospitals are licensed and graded by the Ministry of Health, and A-class is the top tier. That grade is what we book into, and it is named in your plan.
• Volume and choice. Istanbul concentrates a very large number of accredited hospitals and specialist plastic surgeons in one city, which is why a specific procedure can be matched to a surgeon who performs it constantly.

How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?

Long enough for the surgeon to see you again before you fly. The stay is set by the procedure, not by the price:

• 4–5 nights — eyelid surgery, the shortest recovery of the group.
• 5–7 nights — breast augmentation, gynecomastia.
• 7 nights — rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty, ethnic rhinoplasty, neck lift, arm lift, breast lift, breast reduction.
• 7–10 nights — facelift, tummy tuck, BBL and revision rhinoplasty, where swelling and drains need longer observation.

Flying too early is one of the few genuinely avoidable risks in medical travel. We book the return flight around the surgeon’s clearance, not the other way round.

How long do you have to stay in Turkey for a facelift?

Plan on 7 to 10 nights. Sutures come out around day 7 to 10, and you fly home once the surgeon has reviewed you and cleared you — not on a date chosen in advance. Swelling and bruising settle enough to be socially presentable at around two to three weeks, and the refined result appears gradually over three to six months as the last swelling resolves. What is the cheapest country for plastic surgery?

Cheapest is the wrong question, and it is the one that costs people the most. A surgery-only price in any country becomes a different number once the consultation, the anaesthetist, the hospital night, the garments and the follow-up are added — and a price low enough to be remarkable is usually low because something on that list was left out.

What to compare instead is what one figure contains: an accredited hospital, a board-certified plastic surgeon, anaesthetic cover, the pre-operative workup, enough nights in the country for the surgeon to review you before you fly, and someone reachable when you are home. Turkey is competitive on price because of its cost base and its volume — but the reason our figure holds is that all of that is already inside it, written down, before you travel.
