The cost per graft, worked out
US clinics usually price per graft, typically $3–8, with the facility, anaesthetic and follow-up billed on top. Multiply that by a real case and the number moves fast: 3,000 grafts is $9,000–24,000 before anything else is added, and 4,000 grafts is how a US transplant reaches the top of its range.
We do not price per graft at all, so there is no tariff to multiply on the day. Worked backwards from the table above, a 3,500-graft FUE package at €2,300 comes to roughly €0.66 a graft — and that figure carries the hospital, the hotel, the transfers, the interpreter, the medication and a year of follow-up as well as the surgery. The band you are quoted is the band you pay: if the count on the day lands a little above or below the estimate, your invoice does not move.

Not inside the figure: flights, any extra nights beyond the ones in your plan, and your own spending money. Extra nights and a companion’s room are quoted separately before you agree to them.

The reasons are structural. Istanbul has a much lower cost base than any US metro, and its hair restoration teams operate at volumes few American practices approach — a surgeon focused on hair in Istanbul performs many times more cases in a year than a US generalist who offers the procedure alongside other cosmetic work.
