A hair transplant in Turkey costs from around €1,900 for FUE through Alpha Clinic Turkey, with Sapphire FUE and DHI priced higher depending on your graft count and technique. Every figure is a fixed, all-inclusive package — the surgery plus your hotel, airport transfers, interpreter, medication and aftercare — so the number you see is the number you pay.
A hair transplant in Turkey costs a fraction of the price in the UK, the US, Germany or Canada — and through Alpha Clinic Turkey that lower price buys the same surgeon-led standard of care, not a compromise on it. The figures below are honest starting points: your final quote depends on how many grafts you need and which technique suits your donor area.
Every price we quote is all-inclusive. It covers the procedure itself plus your hotel, transfers, interpreter, medication and follow-up care — so the number you see is the number you pay. The free consultation turns these ranges into one exact, no-obligation figure.
What actually determines your price
Two patients can fly to Istanbul in the same week and come home with quotes more than a thousand euros apart — and both will have been priced fairly. The difference comes down to a handful of factors, and understanding them is the best protection against both overpaying and being lured by an offer that looks too good to be true.
Graft count — the biggest single factor
A graft is a tiny unit of one to four hairs, and the number you need is the main driver of your price. Restoring a receding hairline might take 1,500 grafts; covering an extensively thinned crown and front can call for 4,500 or more. Because our packages are all-inclusive, the price does not climb per graft the way a Western per-graft fee would — a larger session means more theatre time and a bigger team, so the total rises in steps, not multiples. The graft-count table below shows how the estimated starting price moves through the typical session sizes. Most patients land between 2,500 and 4,000 grafts.
The technique
Classic FUE is the value benchmark. Sapphire FUE uses sapphire-tipped blades to open finer channels, which supports denser packing and faster healing, and carries a modest premium. DHI implants each graft directly with a Choi pen — slower, more instrument-intensive work that suits unshaven cases and tight hairline detail, and therefore sits at the top of the range.
Your donor area and case complexity
Pricing also reflects how much planning and theatre time your case needs. Strong donor density makes extraction straightforward; a depleted donor area, support from beard or body hair, or repairing an earlier transplant done elsewhere all add session time — and sometimes a second session.
What the package bundles
The figures on this page cover far more than the surgery: VIP transfers, a 4-star hotel, an interpreter, medication, aftercare and 12 months of follow-up are all inside the quoted price. When you compare offers, compare the full list of what is included — a “cheaper” headline price that excludes the hotel and aftercare often costs more by the time you land back home.
Why the cheapest offer is rarely the best value
Istanbul’s prices are low because of volume and a lower cost of living — not because corners are cut. But below a certain floor, corners are cut: rushed sessions, overharvested donor areas and no follow-up are how rock-bottom offers stay rock-bottom. We organise every procedure at accredited partner facilities and quote prices that protect the standard of care, which is why our figures are low by Western standards yet not the lowest you will find online.
From a range to one exact figure
Everything above explains why no honest provider can give you a final price from a price list alone. Send photos of your scalp through the free consultation: a surgeon assesses your donor density and goals, sets the graft count, and you receive one fixed, all-inclusive quote — free, and with no obligation attached.
How much is a hair transplant in Turkey by graft count?
The single question people search for most is some version of how much is a hair transplant in Turkey for a specific number of grafts — 2,000, 3,000, 5,000, even 6,000. The honest answer is that, through Alpha Clinic Turkey, your graft count does not multiply your price the way a Western per-graft fee would. Our packages start from around €1,900 for FUE and rise in gentle steps as the session grows, because a larger graft count means more theatre time and a bigger surgical team — not a per-unit charge stacked on top. The graft-count table further down this page shows those steps for FUE, Sapphire FUE and DHI side by side; the notes below explain what each band typically covers.
- 1,000–1,500 grafts — hairline refinement, temple corners or a modest receding front (roughly Norwood 2). This is the lower end of a session; the package floor near €1,900 applies because the operating-day cost barely changes for small cases.
- 2,000–2,500 grafts — the most common starting request: a receding hairline and frontal recession (Norwood 3). A graft, remember, is a follicular unit of one to four hairs, so 2,000 grafts carry roughly 4,000–5,000 hairs.
- 3,000–3,500 grafts — front third plus a thinning crown (Norwood 4). Most patients land between 2,500 and 4,000 grafts, which is why this band sits in the middle of our table.
- 4,000–4,500+ grafts — extensive loss across the front, mid-scalp and crown (Norwood 5–6). This is the top of a single session for most donor areas.
- 5,000–6,000+ grafts — very large cases (Norwood 6–7). A responsible surgeon will usually plan these as two staged sessions rather than one mega-session, to protect the donor area and graft survival — so a “5,000 grafts in one day” headline is a flag, not a feature. Pricing for a staged plan is confirmed at consultation.
Your Norwood stage gives the realistic range; donor supply, hair calibre and the density you want decide where inside it you land. Our guide to how many hair grafts you need breaks the Norwood scale down stage by stage.
Why a fixed package costs less than per-graft pricing
Western clinics typically charge per graft — a rate multiplied by your count, on top of separate fees for the facility, anaesthetic and follow-up. At 4,000 grafts that arithmetic is exactly how a UK or US transplant reaches five figures. Our model is the opposite: one fixed, all-inclusive figure agreed before you fly, covering the surgery and the whole trip around it (hotel, transfers, interpreter, medication, PRP and 12 months of follow-up). Because it is a package and not a per-unit tariff, a larger graft count moves you up a step in the table rather than multiplying your bill — and there is no “you needed more grafts than quoted” invoice waiting on the day. What the all-inclusive package covers sets out every line, and what cheap quotes leave out.
